Acer CEO says memory makers are hyping 2030 shortage fears to protect margins

Acer chairperson and CEO Jason Chen believes that PC prices will plateau by the first half of next year and start coming down towards the latter part of 2027. He also said that memory makers predict high prices because they want to keep their high margins for as long as possible.
