The new release takes the memorable 2012 "Kilroy Pack" and creatively folds it into a single mismatched low-top silhouette.Rather than reissuing all six original pairs—dedicated to Michael Jordan's alter egos Johnny Kilroy, Motorboat Jones, Bentley Ellis, Slim Jenkins, Calvin Bailey, and Fontay Montana—the brand has scattered their signature colors and details across the design. The left shoe features a primarily black build with dark blue wrapping the lower half, an orange midsole, yellow lining, and white laces. In stark contrast, the right shoe goes in a completely different direction, utilizing red leather, black overlays, light blue lining, and black laces. To further honor the 2012 pack, the tongue tags spell out the names of the alter egos, acting as a checklist for the mismatched aesthetic. Additional thematic callbacks include three stacked Jumpman logos on the insoles and heel embroidery alternating between numbers "23" and "4." Finally, "KILROY WAS HERE" is printed behind the tongues to directly tie the model back to the original advertising campaign. The Air Jordan 9 Low "What The Kilroy" is expected to release on August 14, 2026.Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast
