At least three exhibitors got robbed at Gamescom 2026 — laptops and handhelds with unfinished game builds stolen from locked cabinets

Several developers, publishers, and studios have had their laptops and handheld consoles stolen at Gamescom 2026. However, the organizers said that it's only responsible for general security, and exhibitors can book individual booth security separately.
