Chinese Carmakers Weighing Canada Manufacturing Deals, Joly Says

At least four Chinese carmakers are looking at how to use Canada’s low-tariff import quota for their electric vehicles and are interested in domestic manufacturing partnerships, Industry Minster Melanie Joly said.
