CJ Hendry’s “Juju Mega” Takes the Cult Collectible Online for the First Time

The new drop expands on Hendry’s ongoing exploration of the space between fine art, design and consumer culture, reimagining her rabbit-like character in 10 distinct colorways.Each plush retains the familiar Juju language of soft, fluid contours, exaggerated drooping ears and a leather flower covering one eye, turning the character into something that sits somewhere between art object and everyday companion. Before the global release, Juju Mega will make its physical debut through a four-day pop-up in Hong Kong, marking Hendry’s sixth major project in the city.The installation follows her previous Juju appearances with Phillips and the immersive jujuworld presentation at Pacific Place, this time transforming a Central location into a lilac faux-fur environment designed around a sense of comfort and childhood nostalgia. Visitors will be able to select their preferred colorway directly for HK$620 each, while the online edition will switch to a blind-box format. As with earlier Juju releases, availability is intentionally finite: once a variation sells out, it will not be restocked.The online drop launches November 1 at 7 p.m. EST via CJ Hendry Studio, priced at $79 USD per blind box, with worldwide shipping available for a flat $20 USD including customs and duties. Each collectible comes in a dustbag, with the broader presentation also incorporating a metal tin, fold-out “map” poster featuring all 10 variations and stickers.
