evian®’s 200th Anniversary Swings Into Action With Limited-Edition Bottle Bag Collection
Over the last two decades, evian® has become synonymous with Wimbledon, serving as The Championship’s Official Water partner since 2008. This year, on its 200th birthday, the brand celebrates its longstanding connection to tennis through a special collaboration with British artists Ed Curtis, Hattie Stewart and Diana al Shammari. Dropping in time for grass season, the “200 Years Young” collection sees the artists reimagine the joyful spirit of the sport in three limited-edition bottle bags. Each accessory – crafted from a soft, puffer-like material – aims to bring a colorful touch to the traditional Wimbledon uniform, allowing them to be worn courtside or taken out during the summer days. For his piece, mixed media artist Curtis injects his trademark vortex shapes into an illustrated pattern of strawberries and tennis balls, ensuring every inch of the white fabric is covered. To tie the clashing pattern together, he overlays “200 Years Young” in a hand-drawn form. Similarly, visual artist Stewart emulates the atmosphere of The Championships with a pop art-style design made using digital illustration. Her motifs come to life with characterful faces, bringing an animated touch to the accessory. In contrast to the bold patterns, embroidery designer al Shammari finds simplicity in Wimbledon’s classic aesthetic. Though she also incorporates the iconography into her design, it's the intricacy of the threadwork on plants and racquets that make the bottle bag feel light and whimsical. Surrounded by the intertwining embroidery, the “200” sits at the center in red, matching the evian® bottle lid. Speaking on the collaborative collection, Rachael Hann from evian® shared, “For over 200 years, evian® has championed a youthful spirit rooted in innovation, culture and sport, with Wimbledon playing a defining role in our story each summer. Bringing these worlds together felt like a natural way to celebrate 200 years of heritage in a way that feels fresh, modern and relevant to a new generation. These bags strike that balance perfectly – blending style and functionality in a way that feels as at home beyond the grounds of Wimbledon as it does courtside.”Playing on its landmark milestone, the three bottle bag designs will be released in a limited run of 200 pieces on June 23, 2026.
