France picks Russian-language film 'Minotaur' as its choice for 2027 Oscar glory

A marital drama set against the war in Ukraine, produced by French companies, will compete for the best international film Oscar in March 2027. A "subtle and judicious" choice, according to film expert Jean-Philippe Domecq.
