This vessel commands the water with a massive frame that measures 67.7 feet long and stretches 18.9 feet wide. Lexus handles both the exterior design and the curated onboard experience, focusing architectural upgrades on luxury leisure. Upper flybridge space was extended by 4.6 feet compared to the preceding LY 650, carving out room for a lounge sofa and a barbecue grill. Down at the water line, the rear swimming platform was also lengthened by 2.3 feet.Below the deck, the yacht features three distinct cabins designed to accommodate six overnight guests, while the vessel carries a total maximum passenger capacity of 15 people. Directing that weight requires heavy duty marine engineering, and power comes from a pair of Volvo Penta IPS engines. Buyers can configure the yacht with either IPS 1350 or IPS 1050 units. Choosing the Volvo Penta IPS 1050 configuration delivers 800 hp per engine for a combined output of 1,600 hp. For those needing maximum thrust, the Volvo Penta IPS 1350 engines produce 1,000 hp each, pushing the vessel to a combined 2,000 hp. To feed these powerplants, the hull carries a 1,060-gallon fuel tank alongside a 225-gallon freshwater tank.Construction of the Lexus LY 680 is handled by Taiwan's Horizon Group, which applies the Toyota Production System to superyacht manufacturing by using methods adapted from automotive assembly lines. While initial Japanese deliveries for the yacht were planned for spring 2026, the new September international order window opens the door for overseas buyers.
