Managing the Tire Waste Conundrum with Circular Innovation

Drainage networks made from scrap tires are slowly catching on due to the unique benefits of the material, known as tire-derived aggregate (TDA). The main draw is that TDA has more than twice the airspace of traditional gravel and stone. This enables smaller stormwater systems with higher water retention, and at substantially less cost.
