MRPL refinery fire at coker-adjacent plant kills one, injures another

The fire was triggered by a rupture in a high-pressure cold separator in the delayed coker gas oil hydrotreater unit, and while extinguished by emergency response teams within 2 hours, resulted in one fatality and left another worker with serious burn injuries.
