Murphy Oil adds $300 million to 2026 capex plans

The spending will go toward building out a Côte d'Ivoire discovery as well as a Gulf of Mexico well and Eagle Ford production. The latter’s expected cash flows, CEO Eric Hambly told investors, is the most efficient way to help offshore exploration and appraisal work.
