Solidigm Dangles New $45 Billion US Plant to Upgrade China Site

Solidigm Inc., an American subsidiary of the South Korean memory-chip maker SK Hynix Inc., is in talks with the US Commerce Department to invest $45 billion in a new US chip plant, according to people familiar with the negotiations.
