The narrative centers on global movie star Doris Freeman, who enters a London police station reporting the surreal disappearance of her husband, forcing police inspector Ted Vetter to investigate whether supernatural forces are involved.The series is adapted by writer Paul Tomalin (Bodies) and directed by Tom Shankland (The Serpent). Production is handled by Mammoth Screen alongside Fifth Season, with Tomalin, Shankland, Damien Timmer, Rebecca Keane, and Ben Irving serving as executive producers.
