Woodside subcontractor completes financing for FSO Chalchi

Woodside and SBM Offshore have secured $465 million to develop the Trion field, featuring a new FSO Chalchi based on a Suezmax hull, located 180 km offshore Mexico in deep waters. The project includes 24 subsea wells and aims to produce 479 MMboe, marking Mexico’s first ultra-deepwater development.
